Marketing Coordinator

Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and highly skilled marketing and sales coordinator with a track record of exceptional, transformative management practices. In this role, you will increase productivity, inspire and motivate sales team members, and optimize our company’s market share. You will also be responsible for shaping and developing innovative policies and campaigns that transform the future of our organization. Candidates for this role will be creative, charismatic, knowledgeable, and exceptionally well-versed in the latest sales and marketing techniques as well as tried-and-true practices. They oversee marketing plans including implementation and execution of the various efforts associated with the marketing plan. This may include evaluating the results of various marketing campaigns, spearheading market research efforts, or coordinating initiatives across a variety of channels. 

Responsibilities 

  • Oversee day-to-day marketing, sales, monitoring, and forecasting to better understand the market
  • Continually assess our marketing techniques and their efficacy in affecting sales
  • Stay up to date on current market trends
  • Conduct research and analyze customer behavior (e.g. purchasing habits, trends, and preferences)
  • Creatively envision macro and micro needs in order to design and implement successful marketing campaigns
  • Take calculated risks to increase profitability and brand recognition
  • Collaborate with teams to creatively reach more potential customers
  • Manage effective tracking systems for online marketing activities
  • Identify and analyze competitors and prepare competitive response plans and tactics
  • Own ultimate responsibility for successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Prepare reports via the collection and analysis of sales data
  • Collaborate with the design department to produce exceptional promotional materials
  • Consistently generate clear product marketing copy
  • Organize promotional activities for new product and service launches
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts for products and services

Competence Activities 

Planning and Strategic Thinking

  • Develops marketing plans for Perfec-Tone’s products/brands, including pricing strategies, sales plans, and implements product strategies

Decision Making

  • Develops business cases for marketing programs at the proposal stage and makes recommendations on marketing tactics

Ensures Accountability

  • Develops and attains KPIs for implemented marketing strategies
  • Ensures connection between marketing and sales functions and supervises their joint work with distribution channels

Commercial Awareness

  • Implements established marketing policies, procedures, and practices to meet requirements supporting short and long-term business needs
  • Conducts market research and monitors competitor activity to identify opportunities and trends within existing and new market segments
  • Is familiar with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.

Program/Technical Knowledge

  • Oversees brand/product introductions, marketing/sales campaigns, promotion activities, and advertising and assesses their success against the plan
  • Markets through various channels and segments databases working with large data sets
  • Is fully conversant with Perfec-Tone’s services and products
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and/or participating in professional societies
