The Team Leader is responsible for partnering with the Store Management Team in the overall day to day operations of the store, assisting with product placement, loss prevention and achieving sales goals.

The Team Leader reports directly to the Store Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

Be a driving force behind the ALEX AND ANI message of positive energy

Assist with employee scheduling

Assist with supervising the sales floor and managing administrative team

Ensure proper floor coverage and floor management to maximize store volume

Assist with executing events per company directives to grow client base and build loyalty

Ensure that the stock room and store remains neat and organized

Promote brand initiatives

Partners with Manager to ensure protection of all company assets, controlling internal and external loss

Ensures that appropriate execution of merchandise handling procedures

Completes all additional tasks and duties assigned by Manager

Skills and Qualifications

Must have three to five  years retail experience as a Supervisor or Manager

Experience in visual merchandising and using planograms

Excellent communication, delegation and time management skills

Must be a team player

Must be able to multitask

Must be able to work on a rotating schedule, including evenings and nights, weekends and holidays based on the needs of the business

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
