Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

Fusion IMC is seeking a proactive, highly organised Account Manager to oversee day-to-day client relationships, ensure flawless execution of deliverables, and support our creative and strategic teams. This role is central to how we scale: you will serve as the primary liaison between clients and the agency, ensuring projects move forward smoothly while maintaining our high standard of excellence.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of PR, marketing, and digital clients
  • Lead and document client meetings, ensuring clear action steps and timely follow-up
  • Manage expectations, approvals, timelines, and deliverables
  • Maintain positive, trust-based relationships with clients

Project & Workflow Management

  • Build project plans and weekly task lists
  • Assign tasks to creative, social media, and PR teams via Asana
  • Ensure deadlines are met and proactively flag risks or delays
  • Maintain strong documentation and internal communication

Strategic Support

  • Assist the Chief Strategist with briefing documents, campaign outlines, and client strategy notes
  • Translate client goals into clear deliverables for the creative team
  • Prepare performance reports, recaps, and presentation materials

Quality Control

  • Review drafts, social content, and design materials for accuracy and brand alignment
  • Ensure all materials meet Fusion IMC’s editorial, creative, and quality standards

Administration & Coordination

  • Track budgets and hours per client
  • Coordinate with vendors, partners, and media outlets as needed
  • Support team onboarding for new clients

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

  • 2–5 years in account management, marketing, PR, or client-facing project management
  • Exceptionally organised and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable managing multiple clients simultaneously
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Confident leading meetings and guiding clients
  • Calm under pressure and solution-oriented
  • Able to work independently and think two steps ahead
  • Familiarity with Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, and creative workflows (or willing to learn fast)
