Job Description

Job Summary:

The role is required to handle important administrative tasks, such as sales and renewal processing; act as an extension of the sales team; provide a point of contact for clients with products and services queries; contributes to quality customer service and helps the Business Development team meet its targets; provide support while abiding by all applicable standards and procedures.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide overall administrative and operational support to the Business Development team in order to achieve the team’s objectives
  • Preparation of Sales Prospects kits, Welcome Kits and Renewal files
  • Maintenance of Prospect and Renewal files, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for groups related to new business proposals and renewals
  • Preparation of the monthly Executive Report
  • Maintenance of daily logs and tracking reports
  • Timely filing of all correspondence
  • Communicate internally important feedback from clients
  • Assist with coordinating and attend all BahamaHealth trade shows and sales promotions
  • Assist with coordinating, ordering, inventory, and distribution of marketing giveaways
  • Provide input and feedback to management for continuous process improvement
  • Assist with any other functions assigned by management
  • Maintain the strictest confidence

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or minimum of 3 years relevant job experience
  • Highly computer literate, especially with Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing personality
  • Must be able to prioritize own workload and work effectively with little direct supervision
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and multi-tasking ability
  • Must be able to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as necessary
  • Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality
