Hotel Assistant Manager

Job Description

To assist departments in the day-to-day functions and also ensure guest satisfaction.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure that all stations are properly manned for the shift.

Prepare and maintain arrival/departure control sheet for the daily operations.

Assist guests with transportation requests.

Give assistance to reception areas whenever congestion is present.

Ensure that all guests folios are delivered on a timely basis.

Handle guest complaints and follow through.

Supervise, conduct performance evaluations, coach, interview applicants, train new hires, audit and monitor payroll.

Manage the Bellmen and Guest Service Agents.

Supervise the registration process and posting of charges.

Ensure that all front office standards are maintained and work stations are organized.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years college degree or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years hotel experience preferable.

Demonstrated knowledge of Front Office procedures.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook.

First Aid and CPR Certified.
