Retail Supervisor Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Supervisor to join our team. This position will oversee the daily operations of our store, handle cash sales, manage and develop our staff, and ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in the retail industry, a proven track record of delivering results, and excellent communication and people management skills.

Retail Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

MANAGE STAFF
Oversee the daily operations of the store by managing schedules, overseeing inventory and stock, and ensuring that all opening and closing procedures are conducted
Re-inforce store policies and procedures to ensure a positive and productive environment

MONITOR FINANCES
Cash sales for associates during their shift.
Ensure the team is always on track to make their sales goals and exceed customer expectations.
Ensure that the store is on track to make its sales goals
Ensure that the store has enough USD change to conduct sales transactions on a daily/ weekly basis

MAINTAIN STORE
Monitor store performance and suggest strategies for improvement
Maintain accurate records and reports of store performance, sales, inventory and customer service
Delegate and perform tasks related to store upkeep and organization, and the cleaning of the store and products.
Ensure that the seasonal merchandising guidelines and store layout are being maintained.

MANAGE INVENTORY
Supervise/ conduct monthly inventory counts.
Coordinate deliveries for fulfillment.
Monitor inventory numbers and file requests for inventory and packaging fulfillments
Recording missing or stolen merchandise and plan special discount offers as needed.

ASSIST CUSTOMERS
Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner

Retail Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma
Must have attained passing grade on both Mathematics and English BGCSEs
3+ years of retail experience as a supervisor or manager and more than 5+ years experience working in retail
Excellent communication and people management skills
Able to analyze store performance and develop strategies for improvement
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in MS Office and POS systems
