Job Description: Mangrove Networks is actively seeking a seasoned and proficient Network Engineer to join our esteemed team. In this role, you will assume a pivotal position, overseeing the meticulous management, vigilant monitoring, and strategic deployment of network switches, servers, desktops, and associated technology infrastructure. As a key contributor to our network engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of technology ecosystems for our diverse clientele throughout The Bahamas.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and administer intricate local and wide area networks, including the meticulous configuration and deployment of network switches to guarantee peak performance.
• Exercise comprehensive oversight of server infrastructure, upholding its integrity, fortifying security protocols, and optimizing overall efficiency.
• Orchestrating the management and monitoring of desktop systems, assuring an uninterrupted end-user computing experience.
• Lead deployment initiatives, collaborating closely with clients throughout The Bahamas to discern specific needs and tailoring technology infrastructure accordingly.
• Conduct rigorous monitoring of network performance, promptly addressing issues to uphold optimal operational status.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, proactively recommending enhancements to augment overall technology infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency with a minimum of three years’ experience in network engineering and technology infrastructure management.
• Fundamental understanding of network operations at L2 and L3, including routers and switches.

Skills:

• Solid comprehension of network architecture, protocols, and security.
• Adept in server administration, virtualization technologies, and desktop management.
• Profound knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, and routing principles.
• Exceptional troubleshooting acumen and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Requirements:

• Flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement, with both in-office and remote work days.
• Occasional travel to client sites throughout The Bahamas.
