Customer Service Associate

Job Description

Bahamas Ferries is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join the Sales and Marketing Team.  In this role, the Customer Service Associate will interact with customers to provide information and customer care. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, personable, reliable and possess excellent communication skills.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist with creating surveys for multiple services to determine customers’ needs and expectations
  • Respond to emails and social media inquiries
  • Update customer database
  • Assist with planning and executing customer service events
  • Assist with developing new customer loyalty programme

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Must be able to adapt and respond to different customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing and dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
