After Hours HR is an HR staffing and management agency. Our client is looking for a dedicated Math Teacher to join their team. In this role, you will plan instructions, teach, motivate, inspire and assess students in mathematics. The candidate will promote a high quality, personalized education program that reflects the school’s guidelines and have a clear understanding of algebra and geometry. Responsibilities: 

• Organizes classroom systems/procedures and manages student behavior to ensure all students are fully engaged and learning
• Uses a variety of instructional techniques and materials, which are appropriate to meet the needs of all students and understands the value of differentiating instruction
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of methods, materials and techniques that are relevant to the curriculum
• Ensure lesson plans are interactive in order to motivate students to learn and participate in the classroom
• Create assessment that demonstrate the student’s understanding of the subject

Qualifications:

• Degree in mathematics or relevant teaching certification
• Ability to make students feel comfortable and heard
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Classroom management skills
• A passion for mathematics and a commitment to continuing education
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
