After Hours HR is an HR and recruitment agency. Our client is looking for a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing science lessons fitting to the curricula that adheres to our school’s guidelines, ensure that students are engaging in class discussions and enriching classroom time with science experiments. Responsibilities: 

• Develop, design, and execute science lesson plans and curriculum that adhere the school’s guidelines 
• Setting up demonstrations and assisting and supervising students while they conduct experiments
• Establish classroom, lab, and field trip rules and regulations and making sure students understand and comply
• Create assessment that demonstrate the student’s understanding of the subject
• Provide support and resources to students who are struggling with the subject
• Cultivate an environment that allows students to feel comfortable asking questions and voicing concerns

Qualifications

• Degree in science/biology or relevant teaching certification
• Ability to make students feel comfortable and heard
• Confidence speaking in front of groups
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Classroom management skills
• A passion for science and a commitment to continuing education.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
