A Cleaner/Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, cookware, and utensils. Cleaner/Dishwashers must always be in uniform and keep themselves neat. Also maintain a clean kitchen by sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and cleaning appliances, while adhering to all health and safety standards.

Core Responsibilities

· Dish and utensil cleaning: Clear food from dirty dishes, and wash items like pots, pans, plates, bowls or specific kitchen tools.

· Sanitization: Ensure all items are properly washed according to health and safety standards to prevent contamination.

· Drying and storage: Dry clean dishes and place them in designated storage areas for easy access by other kitchen staff.

· Kitchen maintenance: Sweep and mop floors, empty and clean trash and wipe up spills during and after service to maintain a clean and safe environment.

· Appliance and equipment cleaning: Clean and maintain kitchen appliances.

· Stocking: Restock cook stations with clean utensils and supplies as needed.

· Assisting operations: Assist with other duties such as bussing tables, or stocking delivery supplies.

· Report any issues with sanitation or mechanical problems with the dish machine to a supervisor.

· Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

· Assist with other tasks as directed by management.

· Follow all company safety and sanitation guidelines.
