Creating a positive guest experience by greeting customers, taking food and drink orders, and serving them promptly and professionally. Servers must always be neat and in proper uniform (including aprons and name tag). Also maintain dining area cleanliness, assist with table preparation, and communicate effectively with both guests and kitchen staff. Key responsibilities involve menu knowledge, managing multiple tables, and resolving customer issues with a friendly and attentive attitude.

Core responsibilities

· Punctuality: Servers must Clock in on time to provide enough time to wipe down and set up cushions on all designated seating areas before opening hours.

· Table management: Prepare tables by cleaning and filling up any condiments, preparing to go utensils and sauces are easily available to serve with food. Run food to tables in a timely manner, Clear tables between courses and after guests depart and collect all table numbers to return to cashier area.

· Customer service: Greet guests, present menus when ask and provide recommendations on food and beverages. Ensure a positive dining experience from start to finish by being attentive to their needs.

· Communication and teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are correct and timely. Communicate any guest concerns or special requests to the appropriate staff.

· Cleanliness and safety: Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, service stations, and other assigned sections. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies.

· Handle customer complaints with patience and professionalism, escalating to management when necessary.

· Upsell menu items and specials to guests.

· Assist with opening and closing duties, such as restocking supplies, putting up all lounge chair cushions and cleaning down table and seating areas.

· Participate in pre-shift meetings to stay informed about specials and restaurant activities.

· Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

· Must have experience in POS systems.

· May assist in training new servers.

· Assist with other tasks as directed by management.
