Requirements

• Experience base in landscape and grounds keeping work
• Excellent familiarity with a variety of tree and plant types
• Strong expertise in operating small and large hand and motorized garden and landscaping tools
• Superior ability to work in a variety of extreme outdoor temperatures
• Exceptional ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds
• Must be vaccinated

Duties/Responsibilities

• Rake, mulch, trim and prune flower beds as needed.
• Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in Landscaping.
• Water plants as needed and apply fertilizer or growth enhancers.
• Mow lawn areas.
• Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs and trees based on landscape design.
• Weed/remove unwanted trees and plants as assigned.
• Climb and trim coconut trees
• Maintain walkways and walking paths
• Maintain green house and plant prep area
• Maintain all potted plants
• Follow departments protocols for usage and maintenance of equipment and tools
• Decorate gardens with stones, plants as well as decorate indoor spaces
• Haul or spread topsoil as needed
• Build forms and mix and pour cement to form garden borders.
• Erect garden fencing
