Job Description

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Provides courteous and professional service at all times.
Provides administrative support to the Cage Cashiers Department.
Types all correspondences and related matter ensuring a high standard of accuracy and presentation at all times.
Ensures updates and safeguards all files in an orderly manner.
Ensures an up-to-date list of telephone numbers (inclusive of the Gaming Board) and correspondences is maintained.
Arranges and confirms appointments as required.
Processes all incoming and outgoing mail and distributes as necessary.
Transmits and collects when necessary, facsimile messages.
Ensures inventory of office supplies and orders when necessary, receive and sign for delivered items.
Arranges rooms for staff meetings.
Prepares time sheets, delivers to payroll, retaining copies for files.
Reports for work punctually, wearing the proper attire.
Ensures that the working area is kept clean at all times.
Ensures a complete understanding of, and adheres to the policies within the Employee Handbook.
Answer telephone calls courteously, records and relays messages correctly and provides accurate information to all inquiries.
Ensures all equipment is properly functioning within the department.
Attends meetings as requested.
Ensures a complete understanding of, and adhere to the company¿s fire and safety procedures.
Maintains confidentiality of information received at all times.
Responsible for attending Department meetings, taking minutes and distributing same.
Keep and maintain all records for the Departments and alert supervisors of any negative trends in employee¿s behavior (lateness, absenteeism, etc.).

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent vocational training
Gaming Board License for the Casino
Excellent Typing Skills
Demonstrated knowledge of current software programs
Computer literacy in: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
Ability to work flexible shifts as needed
