Job Summary

The Slot Technical Operator plans, organizes, and directs the installations, unscheduled maintenance and special projects on all slot machines and related equipment

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Plans, organizes and directs the installation, optioning, diagnostic, testing, and bill testing of all slot machines and related equipment in accordance with department policies and procedures.
Ensures all internal control standards, policies and procedures are documented, remain current and are followed by all employees.
Directs the Slot Technicians in performing fault analysis, fault isolation, and repair of failures in the slot machine and related equipment.
Assists Director of Slot Operations with reviews, policy and procedure creation and or revision within the slot department that support the organization’s initiatives and enables department to operate in an efficient, cost-effective manner.
Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Maintains inventory of slot parts and conversions.
Responsible for the repair, preventative maintenance and routine maintenance of all slot machines and slot related items.
Verifies that all slot games communicate accurately with internal systems for accounting purposes; researches and resolves issues that arise within.
Reports for duty five (5) minutes ahead of scheduled time, properly dressed, wearing name tag and Gaming Board License identification.
Carry out preventative maintenance and repair and install machines and equipment as scheduled and instructed by Director of Slot Operations ensuring that slot machines are properly checked and that items such as Bill Validators, Bulbs, Glass, Signage, Locks, Bill Validator Boxes and Ticket Printers are repaired and in working order.
Responsible and accountable for all parts issued for repair of slot machines

Requirements

Two years experience in a Casino Slot Department or similar technical field.
Completion of Advance Electronics Course at a recognized training institution.
Ability to read electronic schematics and execute them.
Possess a practical knowledge of all Soft count and Casino cage equipment, demonstrating the ability to conduct general repairs.
The ability to effectively lead a diverse workforce
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
